| Dhoni also has the record of the highest strike rate in ODI's.
Just to let you know, i live in ranchi, dhoni's hometown. i've met him many times. i've been to his house and have his mobile no.
Dhoni is the 2nd keeper after dravid to have score 2 centuries. Infact they are the only Indian keepers to have scored a century.
Dhoni and Gilchrist are the only two wicketkeepers to have recorded an innings of 150-plus in One-day Internationals. Gilchrist was the first to accomplish the feat, having recorded two innings of 150-plus – one each against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
Since Dhoni remained unbeaten on 183, his innings is now technically the highest ever against Sri Lanka in one-day Internationals. Sourav Ganguly had also made 183 against Sri Lanka at Taunton on May 26, 1999.
Dhoni is the only wicketkeeper to have recorded two centuries in India. Dave Houghton (Zimbabwe) was the first to post a century in India – 142 against New Zealand at Hyderabad on 10.10.1987 followed by Rahul Dravid (India) – 109 not out against West Indies at Ahmedabad on 15.11.2002, Adam Gilchrist (Australia) – 111 against India at Bangalore on 12.11.2003 and Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka) – 138 not out against India at Jaipur on 31.10.2005.
Amongst the batsmen with a minimum of 20 innings in One-day Internationals, he is the only batsman now to have maintained an average of over 40 (49.73) as well as having a strike rate of 100 (108.90). Four other batsmen have recorded a strike rate of over 100 but their batting average is not upto the mark. They are: Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi (strike rate 108.20 - batting average of only 24.08); Zimbabwe’s Andrew Blignaut’s (strike rate 106.65 - batting average 19.53), New Zealand’s Lance Cairns (SR 104.88 – batting average 16.72) and New Zealand’s Andre Adams (SR 104.87 – batting average 19.47)
