I'm a fake Zimbo, you should know that
Falcon obviously. Who could forget the finest one of them all- Heath Streak. Another fine one in Craig Wishart. CBC Bulawayo produced quite a few talented domestic cricketers who never went one. Matt Townshend, Shaun Commerford and Cambell Macmillan just to name a few.
I only ever went to Lilifordia and we had the Campbell's coaching us in our cricket. Alistair came down occasionally, while his old man, brother, and may have even been his grandfather, coached us a fair bit. They were good. They knew what the ball would do. They'd teach you how to hold a bat.
What ZC have endeavoured to do is good. I mean, cricket was, until about 2002, pretty much run by a Mafia style organisation of white families- Whittall's, Flower's, Streak's, Campbell's, Strang's pretty much had a mortgage on it- and even stopped Craig Wishart from being selected.
