your prediction!??

it wasn't really a prediction - it was a toss up (weighted by observing form horses to be sure) - nothing more; given the recent games between the two countries. in fact i'm sure we all guessed at a loss (*see form horses ... and presume we've been following them both for longer than the icc champions trophy) but you are the only one to mention pleasure!

taking the rest of your post into consideration i feel i must remind you again.... in the last three months these very same two teams have played 6 times (one was a dead rubber)... it's three apiece - with BD winning the dead rubber (ie. zim are 1 up on the ones that count).

i also feel that your attitude to zimbabwe is in accordance with your attitude to zim politics (that is a separate issue i always welcome discussion on but on a separate thread so people can CHOOSE to view) - that in itself is fine but doesn't add ammunition to the arguement - it simply adds emotion.

dropping zim and not dropping BD now would be highly questionable considering recent results between the sides.

brings the whole of cricket down?? surely you will expand on this theory while taking the above into account - it'll save exchanges i'm hoping.

as far as the future of the two teams is concerned - i fully expect BD to make the grade while zim will eventually lose its place:

-popularity in each country
-promising youngsters have some sort of support (both on and off the field)
-a future in the game

are at least three reasons why BD should soon leave zim standing still (or worse sliding ever backwards into the abyss)

as far as when they're meeting - absolutely no idea, i'll hear about it afterwards i guess.
