Yes you are right, proof is too strong a word. I’ve brought up Sri Lanka in the wrong thread, so I apologise for that. However, I’d like to rebut some of your points.....

Actually it does. Traditionally Sri Lanka struggle in New Zealand conditions and many people were predicting a whitewash. Instead, Sri Lanka impressed many, particulary Jayasuriya and Sangakara with the bat, and Vaas, Malinga and Murali with the ball. The only area they seem to be lacking in is there fielding.

What's your point? Obviously Australia are the favourite to win the World Cup, I don't think anyone would deny that. I said Sri Lanka is "a" frontrunner, not "the" frontrunner. If I had to pick the semifinalists it would be Aussie, South Africa, Sri Lanka and either NZ, India or West Indies.

Because of the great form they are currently in. I stick with my personal opinion that Sri Lanka is a frontrunner.
