Moody says he won't coach Australia

Moody out of contention for Australia role.

It appears that Moody is more likely to do the sensible thing and build experience with Sri Lanka, a domestic side or very possibly (surely now odds-on) England: makes sense as the Aussie job is likely to come his way eventually... and he'll then be better placed to nail it down for a decade or more.

That suggests the Aussie job might now become a one-horse race.

Nielsen, the former South Australia wicketkeeper who is now the Australian Centre of Excellence head coach, looms as the frontrunner to become Australia's coach in the wake of Moody's withdrawal. Buchanan's eight-year term is due to expire after the World Cup.
