Rachael, I made it quite clear in the question that I was not looking for an opinion on the best batsman of that lot, but the one that you (and the others) would most like to watch when he is playing really well in his unique style - in other words, his big innings on that occasion is taken for granted. If this was a South African forum for example, an 'irregular' batsman like Lance Kleusener would have qualified for a place in the running. The overall capabilites or record are irrelevant.

If it is any help, I do too believe that Tendulkar or Dravid are better batsmen than Ganguly, but in full flow it is the latter that I like most to watch. Likewise, if given a choice of watching one big innings by either Bradman or McCabe (but not both), I'd choose McCabe.
