If ever there was an unfair, nonsensical statement made, this has to be it. Gilchrist is certainly a lively player but the so-called 'badge' was given to him by the media....he never asked for it. As for appealing, I don't think Gilchrist has ever appealed when he
knew that the batsman was not out; but if he was not sure, then it is his duty to his side to ask the question.
Both Gilchrist & Lara are good sportsmen in their own right, which is a lot more than most players from a certain other country that I can think of.
