Well if Hoggard has not retired from one day cricket - being Englands premier test bowler by default because of Harmison being poor touring, then why has he not been chosen for ODI's of late - it must have been because he was not suited to that format of the game.


Broad doing well in Bangladesh is a long long way from the teams that play in the world Cup, England need experienced cover - I don't think Broad can supply that requirement yet.

Kirtley or Chapple IMO are the obviouse call ups, Chapple only lost his place due to injury, and why kirtley has never been chosen is such a while, is beyond me.
