Problem with Strauss is that when Trescothick went home, Strauss went po peices form wise, but if Trescothick comes back - then he (not Strauss) should be made captain.

Collingwood is the pick of the bunch - but really can you see any other candidate in the team?, Mahmood or Plunkett - Bell or Anderson - I think not.

Strange point about Flintoff being sacked as vice captain by Fletcher and Vaughan - it was in the same West Indies in 2004, that Fletcher and Vaughan got rid of Read for G O Jones.

Now Read has got his place back - because no other keeper in England is suitable, have England got a better vice captain than Flintoff? - G O Jones maybe?.
Or will the selectors do a U turn like with Read?.
