It SHOULD be watson, but I suspect it WILL be hodge.
Watson never should have went to the carribean.
There's something very wierd going on behind the scenes with the australian camp that makes watson a sure thing despite sucking the big one.
It's like he's just "popular with the boys" or something, like ponting and other big names demand he plays.
I can think of heaps of players which should have been in there ahead of him. If they want to nurture a replacement for symonds it should be cameron white. I think watson already peaked, just because it was an unimpressive peak, and he's still young, doesn't mean he's going to get better.
The red flag is he's visibly not naturally gifted. He's just well schooled, and I think the limits of his mediocre potential have been reached.
