I don't think that is the case. Despite the fiasco at this World Cup, most observers are aware that there is great potential talent in Indian cricket. But what most would prefer to steer clear of is the quagmire of red tape, politics and financial dilly-dallying that has become part of the game in India. If it was a straightforward desire to work hard and get better - as it seems to be with Sri Lanka - then there would be a queue of former players wanting to be Indian coaches. But the reality is unfortunately different.
