I heard an interview with David Morgan on TMS during the WI v Bangladesh luncheon interval (think it was Arlo White interrogating). Morgan was keeping his cards pretty close to his chest but the (subtle) impression he gave was that Moody was the man they wanted to fill the vacancy permanently (Moores will definately take over as caretaker). According to Ricky Ponting though, Moody removed himself from consideration for the Aussie coach's position after Buchanan because he didn't like the idea of more years of travel. If Ponting and
Langer are on the mark, Morgan has no chance of securing him. However, if the ECB make him an offer he can't refuse and he accepts it would be a right slap in the face for Australia, as the impression I get from the Aussie press is that Kim Nielsen was always second choice to Moody.
