Interesting moves...

Seems like the Cobras aren't happy with only Justin Kemp and Mark Boucher...Now they want to sink their fangs into Justin Langer or Marvan Atapattu. (News24.com)

" Cobras coach Shukri Conrad confirmed on Monday that the union was interested in the services of one of the two experienced internationals.

Conrad said he had had discussions with Langer a few months ago to find out whether he would be interested in playing for the Cobras.

"He said he would like to play in South Africa, and particularly in the Western Cape, but he needed time to decide whether he had the necessary motivation.
"He had retired from international cricket and wanted to discuss things with his family before make a decision," Conrad said.

Atapattu's representatives are in discussions with the Cobras, but at this stage it seems like he may be too expensive for the Cape Franchise.

2 Seasons ago the Cobras also tried out Ian Harvey, but he was a major flop there and they did not renew his contract for the second season.
