With Trescothick pulling out the selectors can rectify one of their daft ommissions from the initial 30: I'd expect Anderson to take the spot and to walk straight into the starting XI.

For once they may actually WANT a second injury to allow them to rectify their other daft ommission: Bell is the man who's been carrying England in this ODI series (and scoring at a blistering rate in recent innings)... and given the form he's in I suspect they'd like to have him in ahead of the inexperienced Wright.

Last but not least... is Nixon in the squad? Whatever happens, the gloves should got to someone other than Prior!
