| Just thought I'd point out the glaring ommision from admin's list of bowling averages 23 year old Naqqash Tahir who managed amdst the total shambles down at Edgebaston the highly respectable figures of 25 wickets at 27.26 (econ 2.9, sr 57.2) from his 11 (mostly rain affected) games. Now whilst I wouldn't put him ahead of the Kabir's, Onions', Harris', Broad's e.t.c of this world he is definitely one of the most underrated young English bowlers out there and if only he was blessed with a couple of yards more pace and a stronger frame that wouldn't keep breaking down he would very much be in the England frame. Hopefully working week in week out with someone of the calibre of AD allied to a season free of injuries can turn the enormous potential that we've only seen glimpses of into something more substantial. |
