Just seen that Ryan Broad has lifted his season average to 35+ with scores of 75 and 107, solidifying his position in my eyes. None too soon either.

As to the question of Siddle and Cameron, I'd be more inclined to include Siddle, as his injury has to be taken into account. But if Cameron wasn't injured, then he in fact has been one of NSW's second change bowlers for the season, so I'd personally be a little reluctant to include him.
I noted Broad, plus noted Cullen also picked up a 4 for, which I do not know was attained before or after those bowling figures I posted the other day (worth revisiting that)

As for the Siddle and Cameron scenario.

My personal veiw is that if either or both of them play it takes them to 5 games.

They are only getting the opportinity to play because both their teams made the final.

If they were in another team that did not make the final, 5 games out of the 10 match schedule would make them eligiable.

If both or either play in the final they will have had played 5 games.

My personal veiw is if either or both get to 5 games and taking into consideration that their respective teams have both earned their right to get in the final. They deserve to be included in the selection process for the A-Team pending their participation in the final.

My main reasoning is that there are going to be other players who played 5 pura cup games this season in teams weaker than Camerons and Siddles that will still be eligiable for selection.

I am willing as long as they play the 5th game give them the benefit of doubt and include them.

I call for more experienced A-Team selectors Andy, Rach, Quag, etc for your veiws.

As far as the two individuals are concerned so far to my knowledge Cameron bowled well in NSW's victory against SA but is not garunteed a spot in the Pura Cup final why I am not to sure but will endevour to find out, first suspicion is that NSW only have to play for a draw and they will load up with B.Lee, S.Clark or N.Bracken of whom one will more than likely be available.

As for Siddle please read the following that I grabbed from the Melbourne Sun newspaper.

Quote:
VICTORIAN paceman Peter Siddle will play in pain in next week's Pura Cup final before having a full shoulder reconstruction.
The exciting 23-year-old, restricted to only four major games this summer, says he has no option but to have more surgery after the most frustrating weeks of his career.
"I was keen to play this weekend and certainly want to play in the final," he said.
Siddle said he did not know how many full-strength overs he would be able to bowl, but he remained the wildcard for the Victorians, who hope to win their first major title since 2003-04.
"It was more a body management issue with Sidds and Shane Harwood (who is also resting this weekend)," coach Greg Shipperd said.
"Had the final been starting today and not this time next week, both would be playing."
Siddle broke down during a match in Sydney three weeks ago, ending his hopes of gaining selection on either of Australia's two winter campaigns, against Pakistan and the West Indies.
"It's what I want to do (play Test cricket), so I have to get the shoulder right and my body nice and resilient again," Siddle said.
"If it means having a full shoulder reco, well that's just what I'll have to do."
Shipperd said he regarded Siddle as the brightest young star outside the Australian squad and, earlier this summer before his breakdown, predicted he would become Australia's 400th Test player.
"He has taken three five-fors this year and bowled seriously well," Shipperd said.
Siddle has taken 24 wickets in four games this summer and is considered a key member of Victoria's best team.
