Firstly, my post was in response to someone else who felt Pietersen was 'afraid' of pace and short pitched bowling - did you have a comment on that you wished to make?
Secondly, you don't get an average of on or around 50 in Test Cricket by only having one 'good year' as you appear to claim and if you actually bothered to look at his yearly/seasonal averages you'd see for yourself that he hasn't only had one 'good year' -
2005 8m 16inn 674 runs ave 44.93
2006 14m 26inn 1343 runs ave 53.72
2007 11m 21inn 1007 runs ave 50.35
2008 1m 2 inn 48 runs ave 24.00
It's also not that hard to see that the year you claim was his "ONE successful season ..in 2005" was actually his worst complete year of his career so far in terms of his average and that's still in the mid 40's.
Do you consider an average of 45+ in three consecutive years to represent only one good year?

I politely suggest you take some of your own advice and next time you feel inclined to refute something someone has said, you do so armed with some factual information that can support what you're saying.

Only in your somewhat 'myopic' opinion, everyone else who has the capability of looking up stats will think otherwise.
