What exactly were those valid points batoutofhell? What, like this one?

None of this is valid. It's in the past. The fact is that Gavaskar is of a generation of Indians that have a deep inferiority complex. And a huge chip on his shoulder as a result. I feel sorry for the man, i really do, but what happened in the past is in the past, and really, it's time to move on.

Their time is gone. It's the younger generations turn now.

But what the new generation make of their opportunity, that is the question. Are they going to continue their parents racist philosophy? Carry on the inferiority/superiority complex? Or move into a brighter new world as equal partners?

The reason i say this is that i was somewhat disturbed by some of the commentary made by people around the internet during the recent India tour to Australia. There was genuine hate flying around, and it was not compartmentalised to cricket, but somewhat general in nature.

This says to me that many young people have been injected with the same poison that flows in their parents/grandparents veins. Where will that lead to? Vengeance? It is this very racial hatred, inferiority/superiority complex, which allowed WWII to take place.

Now one thing is certain. When one wishes to dominate something, they only end up destroying it.

I say it is high time we stopped listening to these old people, with all the f*cked up issues and complexes, and pack them off to their retirement homes where they belong. When you look at the world we have inherited from them, we can only conclude that they are failures, and i for one have no wish to be party to making the same mistakes they did.
