| Seamer i completely agree with your views on Gavaskar
for me the comments on team/player's honesty felt pretty valid
"Every controversy in international cricket has shown that no country has the monopoly on honesty and integrity, and so should not be looking down upon others"
I mean no players are saints hence match referees should not take player's words as a Proof and give the verdict(i am not trying to defend attention crazy harbhajan)-if found guilty with valid proof player should be punished (not too long ago we witnessed the michael clarke's word on taking proper catch in the slip where the replay showed it wasn't)i am not for player's words in these kind of situations
Technology should be used in all possible ways if it is inconclusive then benefit of doubt should go to the accused
I am not trying defend gavaskar's comments on India's hegemony or other blah blah things
I still maintain my aversion to biased comments of Gavaskar.I would rather listen to courageous Manjrekar on his unbiased comments than this past player with full of arrogance(unfortunately ESPNStar can not have him in their team of coward commentators because he speaks truth about players-Especially Indian players)
