Ganguly backs youngsters who have the face to model for TV products ( Yuvraj, Parthiv) and gives a cold shoulder to those who do not have the looks of models ( Murali Kartik, Akash Chopra). It may be a coincidence, but it is a good enough explanation why Ganguly does not have faith in Murali kartik and why he is unable to get the best out of Murali Kartik.
