I heard Heath Streak could not play even if he wanted to because he has signed a Kolpak Contract with Warwickshire. Kolpak contracts in the UK insist on the player not playing international cricket for their home country any more. This would mean that Price, Streak, Ervine, Friend and the Flowers who are all contracted to counties on Kolpak agreements could not play for Zimbabwe without (i) The county allowing them to cancel their contract (ii) Having to pay a significant brreach of contract fine for not adhering to the terms of their employment!

Sorry for the bad news Zimbo fans!
