Due to the limitations of the system it would be wise not to pick fringe players in your first X1. If they play just one match they can't be swapped out. Pick regular players who are likely to play the most matches and use the fringe players as reserves. Just a suggestion. It can be very costly to go through a series where some players in your team are only playing one or two matches.
