My bet is that the ECB should attempt to help Derbyshire, or instigate a trade system for players leaving lowly counties; eg, Luke Sutton goes to Lancashire, they give you Iain Sutcliffe; probably won't happen, but worth a try.

Another bet is to try and entice Kolpakers; though, in saying that, you'll only get the low end Kolpakers, like Travis Friend. Sad to here about Luke Sutton, really. I don't think Captains should leave teams.

And a thought for a spinner; do you think Derby could get some good cricket out of Chris Schofield?
