I can't remember any successful spinner at Derby so he'd be worth a try. Maybe his court case happened a bit late for anyone to sign him this year. Certainly his 171 wickets in 68 first class matches at 31.26 looks good and he also averages 29.91 with the bat with 20 half centuries in 95 innings. That makes him an all rounder in county cricket. His batting average stands up to comparison with our batsmen.

Any of out Lancastrian freinds got an opinion on this one?
