A hard nosed person like Chapel is just what Indian cricket needs, all the Cricinfo columnists are right; Indian Cricket's single most challenging threat is self obsession – Chapel as I see it as the only man that can bring in more professionalism. Moody perhaps might have become another John Wright. John Wright wasn't by any means bad for Indian Cricket, he was tremendous in fact, but now India needs to move ahead, they need not a John Wright or Saurav Ganguly, they need some one straight forward, committed and who talks no non sense and tolerates none either, Chapel is exactly that. It’s not a question of whether Chapel can do the job; it’s a question of whether the Indian cricket system will allow him to do the job. But I’m not sure I have an answer to that.
