As an england fan the batsman i feared the most in the last ashes series was Clarke, he just looked the part and whilst the others were struggling a bit at times with our attack he never looked flustered and some of the shots he pulled off were just stunning, he always looked like he was going to score big hundreds, i felt the only reason he didn't was because test cricket is about experience as well as ability and that's all he lacked, give it a couple of years of experience and a sub-continent tour I could easily expect to see Clarke in the top five of the ratings and averaging 55+. I'd like to see him bowl more as I thought he was a decent spinner too, maybe not a long spell bowler but as a change, a definate golden arm bowler.

Haven't seen anything of White, heard a lot about him and thought it was dissapointing he wasn't given a proper bowl against the RotW team, if people are saying he's better than Clarke then it should be a real treat to watch.
