Vaughan is nowhere in the one day captaincy stakes - he always seems to be behind the play rather than a step ahead - the ICC final argainst the Windies last September is the best example I can think of.
Not sure if you are referring to Vaughan as #2 best Test captain, Aaron - if so I would like to know who is number 1. Only an idiot would deny the obvious gulf between his and Ponting's captaincy after the
recent ashes series where Vaughan made Punter look like a rank amateur in the captaincy department.
