I'm absolutely amazed to see two suggestions of bias here with regard to Richie Benaud. Admittedly I haven't heard him for a few years, but he's always been the number one guy on the box for me, ever since I started watching cricket in the mid 1970s. Of those on the list, he gets my vote. But I'm generally happier with the radio team on the BBC: Christopher Martin-Jenkins, Jonathan Agnew and - yes, sorry, Ern: Henry Blofeld - can bring a sunny day into my living room even when the gloomiest, rainiest day is happening outside the window.
