Certainly, he is a good player, but no way near in the same class as Sachin. And yes, it's fair to say after 12 fantastic months this series wasn't quite as affective for him, but the very fact that despite that his contributions that came via his captaincy whenever he's had the chance to lead us, and the runs when he made them, haven't been called into question overtly dramatically is testament to how quickly he's become an integral member of this Pakistan side. The most admirable bit about him is that he's one of those blokes whose own form doesn't desert him from enjoying the game, and the success of his team mates. And he always manages to see the funnier side of things (raised his bat to the crowd today when he got off the mark after 2 successive scores of zero). I'm positive he'll have a long career ahead of him, but for starters he could do no worse then do the following to get some of the building pressure of his back:
1)Get some big runs against India
2)Get a haircut
3)Either shave completely or join the rest of the team in their 'Facial Hair Rocks Campaign' (one which I fully endorse BTW)
4)Consider a tooth bleach/whitening , the difference it could bring to his smile would be immense:
