A great set of bowling by the Australians looked to have killed off the New Zealand hopes until the New Zealand bowlers toppled the Australians to leave them in difficulty in trying to reach the target. INDIA v WEST INDIES @ Calcutta: West Indies (303/5) beat India (302/9) by 5 wickets. After the Indians had posted such a massive target, everybody was sure they would win - apart from the West Indian team, who, through their middle order scoring half centuries, toppled the huge Indian score to make the Indians worry about getting into the semi finals.
