Seriously though, the Windies have underperformed against even my low expectations. Morton has scored well, but far too slowly. The Windies have failed to stay in the game when they've done the damage. In the second ODI, they had the Kiwis beaten but let them escape, today no one could help Fidel Edwards who bowled SUPERBLY and was the real pick of the bowlers on display. Gayle and Chanderpaul have got out to some shocking shots. (Chanderpaul was bowled between his legs attempting a heave in the first ODI, Gayle shouldered arms to a straight one today). The support bowlers for the Windies have been WOEFUL. Deighton Butler was totally taken to the cleaners today by Fleming, Astle and Vincent and although Dwayne Smith has caused some problems, he just hasn't been consistent enough.
