Yes you are correct there that we need to take other good players to the world cup, but I don't think that will be much of a problem, IMO India have a very good bench strengh, arguably the strongest in the world at the moment. Out of the first XI these are the players India could pick from to take to the world cup:

- Zaheer Khan
- L Balaji
- Robin Uthappa
- Dinesh Karthick
- Dinesh Mongia
- Pativ Patel
- RP Singh
- Munaf Patel
- Piyush Chawla
- Laxman
- Ganguly
- VRV Singh
I just picked these player who have played ODI cricket before but im sure there are many other player in First class cricket who could get into the squad for the world cup.
