But you would say that the chance of a 7-0 whitewash is greater than that of England's against India?

I don't think it is purely because WI do have a tendancy to collapse and also because their bowling can be indifferent often.
i am beginning to look forward to it a little - i was looking at the county scene and saw ervine's performance first up. this guy was no older than some of the boys in WI (granted he had a bit of experience around him but...not too much!) and he matured quickly - and well, like taibu did at the same time. a few of the guys who were promising to lift zim out of the depths were inexperienced (price) or just plain young (ervine, taibu...).

i am not expecting much but if a few step up to the plate and relish the opportunity.... it'll be interesting, if only for the few zimcricket fan's still bothered! - if they think they're on show for a spot abroad (a better incentive than the long-term prospect of earning a zim salary) they might prove to be worthwhile opponents.

until not that long ago there was still a good cricketing foundation within the school system so this lot should have the grounding to take off from. I AM NOT SAYING THEY WILL but they have occasionally showed real fight - duffin's debut, meth's last few performances, taylor and utseya's potential, chigumbura's performances in SA when he was bowling REALLY quickly and accurately to boot (above himself really).

i'm not actually excited but i'm beginning to look forward to the games
