I have my own FreeWebs site, not cricket related, although I did not so long ago have a cricket clips page full of cricket highlights, however I got told to take it down by a 'man in a black suit' so to speak, copyright fraud.

Anyway, you will find in time that the free version of FreeWebs is pretty useless and very restrictive, and you will end up having to upgrade to premium services. When not paying there is a limit of 7 pages with 7 'paragraphs' each which is far form adequate, when you upgrade to full premium services it is £2.74 a month when converted to Sterling which I think is very reasonable for 1.5GB of bandwidth per month, unlimited pages and 'paragraphs' per page, 'WebZoom' for speedy downloading of files and images from your website, password protection for pages, 200MB of webspace, the ability to easily embed media into webpages, 1000 webform submissions per month and simultaneous file uploads.
It really is great value, and you also get some extra Flash templates for your websites design, as I have installed in my site.
Bandwidth and webspace can also be upgraded.
One thing I think you should consider is getting a webform going for people submitting material. They are very easy to make, just select 'Add a Page' and in the drop down menu select 'Form/Questionnaire', and the go from there.
Heres an example of a 'Webform' on my website, the data is sent straight to your email address :
