The Greatest Test - Edgbaston 2005

Good Evening!

My young niece was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leueamia last year. Family and friends have organised a sponsored walk (The Hare and Tortoise Race) to be held along the Basingstoke Canal in Woking, Surrey on Sunday, July 2nd. The event finishes at a local pub where a raffle and auction will be held with all funds raised going to The Royal Marsden, and a couple of other smaller cancer related charities.

The PCA have kindly donated a poster sized print that will be one of the main auction items:

"The Greatest Test - Edgbaston 2005 - Limited Edition Print

This signed print by renowned sports artist, Keith Fearon, illustrates the scene in the aftermath of the last wicket in the second match of the historic Ashes series of 2005. In one of the greatest matches of all time, England pulled off a dramatic victory at Edgbaston to win by the narrowest margin of 2 runs and level the series. A limited edition item, this is one of only 200 produced and is signed by the full England team who participated in this match."

If anybody reading this would like to come along and bid for the print, please contact me at ajm22769@yahoo.co.uk and I can let you have further details of the event.

Hi Amanda, best wishes for your appeal. It's a worthy cause that will benefit cancer sufferers. Our sympathies go out to your niece at this trying time.
