Michal Clarke is the Future

First time I saw this guy play during TVS cup in India 2 years back. I was immediately impressed with his great footwork and ease with which he played Indian spinners in India in his first series. Usually it takes atleast 1 series for AUS & ENG batsmen to figure out how to play here ( There are few exceptions though).

Then I saw him during India's last tour of AUS and he was equally good on those hard wicket.

Again Tommrow the style and maturity with which he played was simply brilliant. His onslaught on Kumble & Harbhajan just after AUS lost Warne showed his maturity. He knew this tail is not gonna last here and he went for a kill and added 40 odd extra runs in no time.

In the coming days cricket world is going to talk a lot about him. Lucky Aussies.

England must take notice of Clarke - He's a bigger threat to making a joke of the threat England pose then most people can imagine. I'm a massive fan of his, and I think he's one of the most exciting young player in international cricket today.

I'd would not mind him to making an impression against us, without winning it for Aus obviously, I certainly don't think I would like seeing him break his arm or something, broken arms are always bad , painful injury, I'd never hope something of that sort to happen to even of one of my least liked cricketers.

He is a good prospect but I dont see anything that special in him. It is the mediocre Indian bowlers making him look great.

Indian are defnitly not a mediocre attack at home. If that was true then teams world over wouldnt have hard time winning a series in India.
Wait till you see more of him..
If a middle order ODI batsman is averaging around 50 ,it speaks something.

Duh !! Aussies just put 450+ runs on the board and you are telling that Indian attack is not medicore at home ?? Anil is a spent force now, Harbhajan isn't the surprise pack anymore and India are playing without their Umpires this time. I had predicted this result long back on a different forum. Take it from me once again Australia 3, India 1/0. depending on how the aussies approach the last test.

As for Michael Clark, Look at his average against India and other teams (in ODIs). Indian attack at home is mostly spinners, If a player can handle spin well, he will do well in India. Players like Katich and Clark are going to have fun in this tour keep watching.

In five years time Clarke will be the best player in the Australian team...

But that's only because they don't seem to have any young players of any quality coming through...
