Is this current Test teams... or world XIs?

The two current Test teams to see would have (on recent evidence) to be Australia and Sri Lanka IN Sri Lanka... the Aussies for obvious reasons.. and Sri Lanka at home ahead of the rest because on home soil they have proven to be very, VERY tough to beat (the series between the two, earlier this year, having been the most interesting test series there has been anywhere in MANY years).

If you were talking world XIs... Mmmm. Let's leave out a few real masters.. like Warne, Tendulkar and Lara... and play at the Rose Bowl (very helpful to ALL kinds of bowling):

Team 1: Jayasuria, Sehwag, Sangakkara, Kallis, Laxman, Flintoff, Gilchrist (capt, Wk), Harbhajan, Akhtar, Harmison, Ntini.

Team 2: Richardson, Langer, Dravid, Martyn, Thorpe, Chanderpaul, Pollock, Taibu (capt, Wk), Gillespie, McGrath, Murali

There you go: complete destructiveness meets the indestructable object: let battle commence :-D

Nice teams there Rach, should be a very interesting contest that.

I'd like the aliens to watch an Ind VS Pak match what the two team consists of doesn't really matter, just that they would be representing India and Pakistan should be a good enough spectacle for our game, the aliens will enjoy the intensity and pressure me thinks ;-)

In vs Pak... Hmmmm... depends how paranoid the aliens are: they might get scared by tensions getting so high between two such big military powers with such a long tradition of hostility.. or frightened off by the apparently quite irrational passions displayed, by hundreds of millions of people, many of whom seemingly who pay scant regard to anything quite so objective as fact in assessing each teams chances... and just scared off having further contact with being ona planet where loss of a game is felt so keenly that reports allege one Indian doctor recently committed suicide following a defeat :-p

Yeah, there is a good chance that might happen ;-) But there is an equally good chance that something just opposite might happen...like the aliens being completely taken back by the passion and enthusiasm with which both teams are supported, or something on those lines.
