Well, I have to say the guy is certainly off to a flying start. Wasnt that century his second in 5 tests or something?
I would like to see more of his batting.

Lets just wait until he plays against some good bowling attacks on bowler friendly wickets before we start comparing him to some of the greats. After all, us England fans are always told that Harmison has to prove himself in the subcontinent and against Australia before he is classed as a world class bowler so therefore the same should apply to Clarke.

And it's not like Clarke did anything special last season at Hampshire. It may be that his technique isn't suited to our pitches!

Of course it's too early to say he's the next Don Bradmen. However he's made too fantastic scores in India and Australia so we can rave a little bit.

Clarke was talking about his stint at hampshire. He was having trouble but towards the end figured it out. Clarke is going to have to make adjustments to his techniqe as bowlers learn his weaknesses and he already realises that. I'm certinly not jumping the gun here. As Brian Lara told Clarke after his debut, Clarke needs to keep his feet on the ground and realise the the hardest part is yet to come.
