He finished with 141, and Aus are 200 odd ahead with still 1 wicket in hand (the unthinkable happening with Dizzy and Pigeon putting on 90 odd unbroken for the last wicket partnership, and McGrath sending every one wild by makiung his first fifty in 113 test innnings, worse still he's still not out, and he even hit a six off Vettori, it was unbeleivable) Gili also made another hundred.

Micheal Clarkhe reminds me soo much of Mark Waugh, he really does, I'm not saying this just for the sake of it, he really does. He's such an electrifying, orginal talent; a player whose style is characterised by a lyrical, dreamy intensity - there is something about him that should scare the life out England, and Ashley Giles in particular next summer. I have such a strong feeling this guy might actually notch up 1000 test runs by the end of the Aussie summer. He's in Beny's terminolgy simply GOD!

If he keeps this form going he's on the way to being a Titan.

Did anybody see the crowd when McGrath got his 50. I was listing to it on radio and the roar was defening.

Nont knock pie men Rachael, he will strike fear into the hearts of Australian bowlers.

Well done to McGrath Beny on his 50, mind you he will have a lot of 50s, against his name, after bowling 10 overs next year

Rachael,

This is exactly the reason why you really ***** me off sometimes.

Rather than celebrate and congratulate a good player on a good innings, you have to make a negative comment about England.

It just really annoys me, why can't you say postive stuff about England EVER.

I always said he was going to be good, but the thing that got me, was Mills seemed to give him a huge start by giving him an over of half-trackers. I think it may have been one of the worst overs I have ever seen, Clarke quite rightly captialised, and he was motoring.

The barmy thing was Fleming only spoke to Mills at the end of the over, I would have been in his ear-hole after the first two, but he got left to bowl a frankly awful over, why was he picked - as a swing bowl, you can't get much swing when you pitch the ball on your toes, and when you are bowling at 128 KM/h it is only going to end up sailing to the boundary, especially by a player of Clarke's class...
