This is for Erne, in particular, but generally everyone.

1)Who are you more comfortable with behind the stumps, Read or Jones?
2)I am a member of the WAT cricket forum, one of my friends there, a passionate England fan by the name of Ernest Harrison thinks you and Harmison are the best new ball bowling combination in the world right now, would you agree or disgaree?
3)Do you think you are the best all rounder in the world right now?
4)Who gets the most ribbing in the dressing room?
5)Which club do you support in the EPL, I support Man U by the way.

Thanks and best wishes for the winter tour to SA,

Thanks for the email

In responce to your answers:

1. I dont think either have dropped any clangers off me and I am confident with both Chris and Geriant behind the wicket.

2. I will have to disagree - I think Harmison can stand up against anybody but with me ranked as the best in a combination is not quite right.

3. As for being the best all rounder in the world - I think that is a very big tag to give to yourself - I would say that Jacques Kallis is the best at the moment.

4. There is always plenty of banter in the changing room - everyone gets the same ribbing.

5. I support Manchester City - unfortunately there are Man U fans everywhere!

Best Wishes

FREDDIE

Thanks for that Zainub, Freddie's way too modest.

In reply to the other lot.TTFC:

I'm Saying that Harmison is as good as gillespie. In other words we've got McGrath who's better than him and Dizzy who's as good and you've got... Harmsion.

Flintoff is better than 3/7 of our batting line up. However he is not likely to outscore those three players.

Would I be wrong in saying that so does every other major nation in the world? We've got 3 in the top ten.

Oh Beny, I think you're the darker twin of Ern that was seperated at birth and sent to Australia!

You are undeniably right that Australia are superior to England on paper. However, I think that the following may struggle in English conditions - Hayden, Clarke and Lehman, Dizzy and Kaspa

You're not as good as you think you are, and we'll give you much closer games this time. I think you are merely hyping up your side and indulging in the time-honoured game of Pommie Bashing. You like to give the impression that you Aussies are better than us at everything, and to be honest, for a long time you've been right. However, as with the Rugby Union, English cricket is on the rise and by the time we play you next, we'll be giving it the best shot we've been able to for the last 15 years and I'm going to be riveted to every minute.

That said, as a nation you do make jolly good beer and biscuits.

Thanks for that, Zainub. I've never heard of this guy.

I see he maintains the traditional British (and white Australian) view that Captain Cook found Australia, forgetting as usual that there was a population of Aboriginal people there all along who never realised it had been lost.

Nope. We are the only team with four. The reason why it is significant is your are basing the fact you are going to thrash on the fact that you just carted New Zeland with one Test bowler in the top twenty. I am not disputin the fact that currently the Aussies are a better team, what I am saying is it will not be the same as the ususual thrashing.

Come on Pakistan, that's what I say. I hope Shoiab breaks a few bones....

Oooh yeah, and it hurt! My point is that we compete on equal terms with the Aussies at Rugby - beating them and getting beaten, regardless of the recent result. The same could notbe said of our cricket in the past, but I think we will compete with them on this basis and not just get crushed each time.

Don't come the Big Smarmy Smartypants with me young man!

The Dutch claim to have arrived in Aus before the English (Van Diemansland in the northern territories) but decided to shove off somewhere else thinking it a cesspit.

As for Englands chances next year it all comes down to the first test. If England lose I fear for the result but if we get a result then I reckon we'll win. So There.
