Exclamation Aussie Weather

What on earth is going on? So far down here we've had a week of thunderstorms and high winds. In NSW there's been flash flooding and looks today as if the ODI might be called off due to expected rain and thunderstorms. Is this December or March?

I was listening to the weather news, things don't certainly look promising for the 3rd one-day game, keep your fingers crossed though, may be they can squeeze in enough overs for a shortened match - they can be very interesting at times, and better still NZ are good at winning those ... ;-)

Burned Alive...

We were all having a little chukle to oursleves down here. Not too funny though because I heard that some people ended up in hospital or died but It was a bit much...

I tell you I was training yesterday and it was humid as all hell. It might be thundering but it's still 30+ degrees .

Yeah but it's stange all over, we have had a lot of hot summers, and we get warm winters really, snow is a thing of the past, one good thing.

I think it is the same in Australia, I think you get more fires than you used to, I know we get a lot more flooding.

To give you an idea, I am sat at my PC in my bedroom with no heating in the middle of winter, and I am not cold, and it is 23:28 at that, should be freezing cold.

What a bummer! No play at all at Brisbane.

Bit of a hissy-fit from John Bracewell as well - see here. Really does seem unfair. If they really had a month's rain at the Gabba in two days, what the heck is the groundsman meant to do?

You could always come to Prague, Ern. 9 in the morning, grey as far as the eye can see and temperatures barely breaking a duck. I hate this time of year in Europe.

I would settle for the odd 9 degrees imaginarydive, that would still leave you with 40
