After Sri Lanka

The aussies have played a good series in Sri Lanka, adapting well to the conditions, and the cricket has been exciting. Will Sri lanka come back to win any other matches? What could Australia(or Sri lanka) improve? Who were the players of the series for you?

Are you following the current day's play? Right now the Aussies are under the cosh and going backwards! Jayasuria has blasted 66 off 75 balls... Atapattu has managed 57 off 83 balls... there's 129 on the board for no wicket... and Gillespie has the sort of figures for which lesser bowlers might reasonably be shot!

Typical moment of Jayasuria madness: this guy is as dangerous for his own side as he is for the opposition.

Cricinfo comentary:

27.2 Lehmann to Jayasuriya, OUT: lofts in the air towards long on, Dizzy
runs in and catches it, terrible batting by Sanny!!!

Sri Lanka 134/1, Partnership of 134
ST Jayasuriya c Gillespie b Lehmann 71 (78b 9x4 1x6)
MS Atapattu 57* (88b 12x4) DS Lehmann 0.2-0-4-1

:"Needless
Needless wicket

Typical one-day shot. LOL. The part-timer comes on and the batsmen wants to smash him all over the park and out of the attack. I'd prefer to milk runs off him to keep him in the attack. As you say - madness!

Hayden, Ponting, Martyn, Lehman and Gilchrist have all made big scores at vital times and Warne has got 4 five-fors. Australia's batting depth is incredible and Warne is a superb bowler. To give you some idea of the difficulty of batting in SL read Darren Lehman's article at CricInfo: Lehmann: ' I was a little bit bored at times'

i'll admit to not knowing that information. How many overs have gone? And what will be the final score?
