Poor Gillespie.... He's always going to live in McGrath and Lee's shadow.

Lee's shadow? that's a wind up that doesn't work simply because it isn't credible.

Sorry.. I know Lee had a purple patch when he just about did a job.. but that always struck me as a purple patch due to the pressure exerted by McGrath, Gillespie and Warne: Lee was the beneficiary as batsmen felt they had to really get after him and bat him out of the attack in order to tire the others.

Now? Lee's better than Sami.. but surely they are both fading into fully desered obscurity. I hope so, anyway: Kasprowicz impresses me far, far more.. and there are a stack of promising young bowlers in Pakistan as well.

Rachel -

I went there less often when I lived in East Anglia as well. With flights from here to about fifteen cities in the UK every day, I ought to be able to do better. Will try to shape up a little bit.

Beny-

I'm English, mate: double underlined on every single slice. Left the Old Country in 1990.

Yeah I know, but Lee gets all the media attention... being fast and everything.

That still might happen-you never know we might need to all live on the moon due to exensive global warming or something like that. And I believe it is possible to buy tickets starting at about $8 million. As for cricket-there are many teams that could shake the Aussie boat, not necessarily tip it (unless it sinks itself!) but you musn't overlook the fact that there is some powerful cricket being played worldwide at the moment and teams I once supported who I thought dominated test cricket seem to be slipping. It's a little bit unpredictable and that is one of the most exciting parts of the game.

yes but it's unpredictable because Aus are so far in front of the rest and the 2,3,4,5 teams are all so close.

The Only sure thing is that Aus are the best at the momment.
