Matthew Hayden is shaping as the destroyer of New Zealand's bowling in the second one-day international at Christchurch.

He was unbeaten on 66 off the same number of balls at the 25-over mark, with Damien Martyn on 18 as Australia had reached 2-143.

Hayden hit a six off Cairns straight back down the ground to bring up his half-century off 55 balls, with two sixes and five fours. After scoring 71 in game one, Hayden is clearly getting back to his best.
