| Tait played in England for a bit last year and went for about 8 an over and couldn't buy a wicket, in a Durham side where two kids were leading the attack due to injuries and taking wickets for fun. Would you want to risk a player with that record in an international side that only plays 4 front line bowlers? He needs a couple of years playing domestic cricket in England to get the feel of the conditions. He would probably still open the bowling for Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and maybe India... So what? The guy had a bad few weeks out. How many times has Harmison done that? A. Giles?- Snigger.

| England play a 5 man bowling unit, if one is out of form, you have 4 left, or if one gets injured you have 4 left. 4 bowlers can be enough, but only if ALL of them are performing. If S Tait fails to perform in a 4 man bowling unit, like he did last year, you have 3 front line bowlers and not much backup, and that is not enough. |

| I'm not suggesting that tait play in the ashes. Far from it, I want our best bowling side proforming for as long as possible. I dont mind if Tait misses out for another few years. However he should be in the squad to tour and get some experiance in English conditions.

| Yep I think we can agree on this, he has the raw pace, and the potential, it would begood for him to fill in, in some county games, and the experience would do him no harm at all. |
