| This is getting rediculous.
At first I was a bit surpriesed that CV would consider letting go the likes of Elliot, Hussy and Hodge. Thankfully it seems that two of those are likely to stay. However the fact that Mathew Innes has gone to WA and it seems Harwood is on his way to Tasmaina points out the ludicrous selection policy of CV... How Ray Bright could have been touted as a replacment for Border on the selectors panal for the national team astounds me. During last season, Inness took two 7 wicket hauls and was possibly the most effective bowler in District Cricket. His Domestic stats speak for themselves and now WA have picked up on what Victoria could not see. The fact that Innes is young adds salt to the wounds. Here we are with a frontline bowler (Lewis) who has rarely overly impressed and is more than thirty years old, whilst a fantastic young bowler is forced to move interstate. The same would go for Harwood who is also a fantastic player.
I can't understand why Victoria persists with the bowling attack we have now. Old, two dimensional and un-remarkable.
