| Mental disintegration shouldn't mean moral distingeration. How do you classify this being of any use to mental disintegration Quote:

| Well said. I'm with those who've no problem with well timed and genuinely witty comments... but who doubt the capacity of most cricketers to raise themselves to a level that makes it worthwhile: if it is worth saying then let everyone hear it and let's all admire the latter day gooner in question.. but if it's not really worth saying... don't bother. Ambrose had the best approach: just stand, look thoughtful and then go get ready for the next delivery. I'm sure any player in the world would rather face sledging than that :-) |

| That was during that historic IND vs AUS series in 2001. Slater believed he took a very low catch offered by Dravid but Umpire Venkatraghvan did not give Dravid out. What followed was Slater running upto both Dravid and the umpire and talking rubbish. As for what Sarwan said to McGrath, I'm sure you'll agree Paoli that Sarwan isnt the kind of person who would say anything unless ofcourse having being intimidated. He not only gave McGrath a dose of his own medicine but also went onto win the match for the Windies and made me the happiest cricket fan on Earth! And regarding Prasad, it was stupid of him to do that and anyways he looked silly!

| Sorry Doink, but I believe that Sarwan intimidated McGrath first. I believe Sarwan made comments about his wife's breast cancer trouble after a passing comment from McGrath. I don't think McGrath gave it to any members of the Sarwan clan in the process. |

| I thought McGrath misheard Sarwan! Seriously, I have always been under the impression that the incident started off because Sarwan said something to McGrath, which McGrath thought was about his (at the time) sick wife, and then it all begun from there |

| I thought it was something like this.. McGrath: What does Brian Lara's **** taste like? Sarwan: I don't know. Ask your wife. |

| Ok, so one thing is for sure, what ever it was, it certainly wasn't nice. And was beyond the boundaries of allowed sledging. |
