Is the Ashes hyped up? Well it depends where your coming from.
It is the most important cricket event in England since 1999 World Cup. It is the best England side since a very long time. This England side would of been clear favourites against the vast majority of Aussie sides.
For me what has taken a bit of the edge off it is to do with my personal analysis. I always thought the problem was the English bowling attack I didn't think it was quiet up to it. The one day series has confirmed this. So I am anticpating a little bit less, but still look very much forward to it.

No OF. Winning the Ashes is not like winning the world cup. It's traditional but it dosent nessicerily mean you're any good.
