I didn't say 600th test wicket? As it happens I did mean test wicket. But I could have meant on Cricket 2004! He likes to play that!

Actually, when I posted that post he could still have taken 597 in the series! You are right, I am a mathematician, not an accountant, that's why I don't sit around all day accounting for McGrath's wickets!

Anyway, my question was not "Can McGrath take his 600th wicket in this series?", in fact it was "Will McGrath take his 600th wicket in this series?". It was a problem for the alert forum poster to solve.

You are correct Mongboy, well done, the answer is no!!!
