For the first time in my life, I am actually feeling a little bit sorry for Brett Lee.

Brett Lee will remain in hospital for a second night and is expected to be discharged on Wednesday. His fitness will be assessed when he joins the team in Manchester tomorrow. Surely no-one would put money on his returning to the team only 24 hours after getting out of the jug?

Report here from the BBC.

That would be a massive physcological boost to the Aussies to have them two back, it could do the reverse to England too.

Lee's chances of getting fit for Old Trafford look very good but I can't really see McGrath overcoming his injury. It seems that Gilchrist is more hoping that McGrath will make it in time.

No question about that: but if you ask me, I'd say that it is a psychological game they are trying to play. I doubt either will bowl at Old Trafford.
